Mark your calendar for the third Washington statewide ACEs and Resilience Community of Practice event, hosted by the Washington State Essentials for Childhood. Washington State Department of Health, and Everett Public Schools.
This event will provide opportunities to connect with people across the state who are working to grow trauma-informed, resilient, and compassionate approaches in their communities and work places, so that all children thrive in safe, stable, nurturing relationships and environments.
Who Should Attend?
People who lead or participate in cross-sector community groups and initiatives in Washington State related to:
People who are working to bring trauma-informed approaches to their communities and work places in Washington State – early learning, schools, public health, primary care (health care), child welfare, behavioral health, law enforcement, and more.
New participants are welcome, as well as people who participated in 2018 events.
Please Note: This is not an introduction to ACEs or an ACEs training. If you are new to ACEs and trauma informed approaches, you are welcome to attend. You may want to contact Tory Henderson at tory.henderson@doh.wa.gov to get more information about the event and/or request an Introduction – Getting Started resource list.
Travel Assistance – we have a limited budget to cover travel costs for people who don’t have an organization that can support their travel and who are traveling over 100 miles. You will be able to request travel assistance when you register.
