This one-day course, sponsored by the Development of Nurses Shared Governance Council, is offered to all disciplines that care for children at the end of life. The course will describe the philosophies, principles and practices of palliative care that can be integrated across different settings to influence quality pediatric end-of-life. Information will also be provided regarding the role of healthcare providers and families in providing palliative care for children.
