Research tells us that early childhood is a critical period of brain
Research tells us that early childhood is a critical period of brain development. Caregivers’ everyday interactions with their children play a critical role in supporting their children’s healthy brain development, creating a foundation for lifelong health and well-being.
To help families make the most of this precious time, Essentials for Childhood is supporting partners around Washington to use Vroom in programs and initiatives. Vroom takes early brain science out of the lab and puts it into the hands of caregivers.
Vroom empowers parents to see what they are already doing to support their child’s brain development, and encourages more of it. Vroom fits in a wide range of programs and setting including but not limited to libraries, museums, early learning programs, play and learn, parent education, early childhood home visiting, health and social services, and more. For more information see the Essentials Vroom Webpage.
